Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Sowlif (سولف) mobile app, this website and related services (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by Dardesh, registered in Türkiye ("we", "us", or "Sowlif").

By downloading the app, creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and minimum age

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Sowlif.
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
• You must not have previously been banned from the Service for breaching these Terms.
• You must not be located in an embargoed country or appear on any prohibited-parties list.

If we determine you are under the minimum age, we will delete your account and its data.

3. Your account

• You create your account through Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, and you are responsible for the security of the account you use to sign in.
• One personal account per person. Creating multiple accounts or impersonating someone else is prohibited.
• Your information , including name, age and photo , must be accurate and must be your own.
• You may not sell, transfer or share your account with anyone.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.

4. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Sowlif app on a device you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes only, in accordance with these Terms and the usage rules of the applicable app store.

You may not:

• Copy, modify or create derivative works of the app.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract its source code.
• Rent, sublicense, distribute or sell the app.
• Use bots, scripts or scraping tools against the Service.
• Circumvent any technical restriction, usage limit or payment mechanism.

All intellectual property rights in Sowlif , including the name, logo, design and software , remain owned by us or our licensors. These Terms grant you no rights in our trademarks.

5. Acceptable use

Sowlif is a space for respectful connection. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. You must not use the Service to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone.
• Post or send sexually explicit, pornographic or nude content.
• Share any content involving the exploitation or endangerment of minors, in any form.
• Engage in hate speech or degrade anyone based on religion, race, nationality, gender or disability.
• Incite violence, terrorism or self-harm, or post graphic or shocking content.
• Commit financial fraud, beg for money, send spam, or run unauthorised commercial promotion.
• Impersonate any person or organisation, or use photos that are not your own.
• Promote drugs, weapons or any illegal activity.
• Publish other people's personal information without their permission, or capture private content and share it outside the app.
• Hack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service or to other users' accounts.

Respecting consent: if a user declines your request or blocks you, you must not attempt to reach them through another account. Doing so repeatedly results in a permanent ban.

6. Content you post

You retain ownership of the content you post on Sowlif (statuses, photos, messages). By posting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce and display that content , solely as necessary to operate the Service and deliver it to you and to the users you directed it to, and for safety and moderation purposes. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods described in our Privacy Policy and to backups.

We do not claim ownership of your content, we do not sell it, and we do not use it in advertising. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to everything you post and that it does not infringe any third party's rights.

7. Reporting and moderation

We provide in-app tools to protect you:

• Reporting: report any user or objectionable content from their profile or from a chat.
• Blocking: block any user instantly , they can no longer see or message you.
• Filtering: we use automated and manual methods to detect and remove objectionable content.

We commit to reviewing reports and taking appropriate action , including removing content and suspending accounts , within 24 hours of receiving a report. For urgent matters, email report@sowlif.app.

We may remove any content or suspend any account at our reasonable discretion, without prior notice, if we believe it breaches these Terms or puts users at risk.

8. Sowlif Plus subscription and auto-renewal

Sowlif Plus is an optional paid subscription that gives you additional benefits including daily Super Likes, monthly coins, free country filters, a VIP frame, an ad-free experience and unlimited browsing.

8.1 Price and duration

• Available plans: monthly, annual
• Prices: vary by region , the final price is shown in the app before you confirm the purchase, and may vary by country and applicable taxes.
• Free trial: not offered

8.2 Auto-renewal terms

By subscribing to Sowlif Plus, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Payment is charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the same plan.
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your app store account settings after purchase.
• The current subscription cannot be cancelled during its active period; your access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Deleting the app or your Sowlif account does not cancel the subscription , you must cancel it through the app store.

8.3 How to cancel

• iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Sowlif → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Sowlif → Cancel.

8.4 Refunds

All payments are handled by Apple or Google, and refunds are governed by their policies rather than ours. To request a refund from Apple, use reportaproblem.apple.com; from Google, use the orders page in Google Play.

8.5 Price changes

We may change subscription prices in future. We will notify you a reasonable time before any increase takes effect, and it will apply only to subsequent renewal periods. Continuing your subscription after notice constitutes acceptance of the new price; you may cancel before renewal if you do not agree.

9. Coins and in-app currency

• Coins are a virtual currency usable only inside Sowlif, obtained by purchase or through Sowlif Plus benefits.
• Coins are not real money and do not represent any monetary balance or property; they cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred out of the app.
• Coins are non-refundable once used, except where the law requires otherwise.
• You may not sell, trade or transfer coins between accounts.
• All unused coins are forfeited if your account is banned for a breach of these Terms, or when you delete your account.
• We may change coin prices, benefits or availability, with reasonable notice where practical.

10. Suspension and termination

By you: you may stop using Sowlif at any time and delete your account via Settings → Account → Delete account. Remember to cancel your subscription through the app store first.

By us: we may suspend or terminate your account, in whole or in part, if:

• You breach these Terms or the acceptable use rules.
• We receive repeated credible reports about you.
• We suspect fraud, purchase manipulation or other misuse of the Service.
• It is necessary to comply with the law or to protect user safety.

For serious breaches, suspension may be immediate and without prior notice. Termination for your breach carries no refund of subscription fees or coins, except where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive , such as limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law , remain in effect after termination.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In particular, we do not warrant:

• That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• The truthfulness of what other users say about themselves, their identity or their intentions.
• That the Service will result in friendships or relationships of any kind.
• That any user's conduct will be appropriate or lawful.

Your personal safety: Sowlif does not conduct background or criminal record checks on users. Be cautious when talking to people you don't know, never share financial or sensitive personal information, and if you choose to meet someone in person, pick a public place and tell someone you trust. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, neither we nor our directors, employees or agents shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

In any event, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims combined shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you, and your mandatory consumer rights under local law are not affected.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your breach of these Terms, the content you post, your violation of any law or any third party's rights, or your interactions with other users inside or outside the Service.

14. Additional terms for Apple device users

The following applies if you obtained the app from the Apple App Store:

1. Parties to the agreement: these Terms are concluded between you and Sowlif only, and not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
2. Scope of licence: the licence granted to you is a non-transferable licence to use the app on any Apple-branded product that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
3. Maintenance and support: we are solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the app. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services.
4. Warranty: we are solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty will be our sole responsibility.
5. Product claims: we, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including: product liability claims; any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy or similar legislation.
6. Intellectual property rights: in the event of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
7. Legal compliance: you represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
8. Third-party terms: you must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app (for example, your wireless data service agreement).
9. Third-party beneficiary: you acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

15. Additional terms for Google Play users

If you obtained the app from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the app. Purchases and refunds are governed by Google Play policies.

16. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

You agree that the courts of Türkiye shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms.

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or UK, nothing in this section deprives you of the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, or of the mandatory protections of its law.

17. Changes to these terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date, and we will notify you in the app or by email a reasonable time before any material change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

18. General

• Entire agreement: these Terms together with the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability: if any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
• No waiver: our failure to exercise a right is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition.
• Force majeure: we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Language: where the Arabic and English versions differ, the Arabic version prevails.
